Meghalaya Board of Secondary Education (MBOSE) was established in the year 1973, but after 1996, when the North Eastern Hills University (NEHU) of Meghalaya discontinued the pre-University course, it was taken over by the Meghalaya Board. Meghalaya 12th Reduced Syllabus After that, all the matters and functions related to the SSLC and HSSLC are carried out by the board itself. Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE) follows the new and revised CBSE and NCERT textbooks. The syllabus is available for the candidates to download in PDF format.
